What is relaxation?

Relaxation is a state of being free from tension and anxiety where you feel calm and can cope to manage your stress.

What are Interpersonal Skills?

Interpersonal skills involve a mixture of skills focused around communication, such as listening, examining and interpreting body language. They also hold the skills and characteristics associated with emotional intelligence, the capacity to be aware of, control, and express one's emotions, and to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically. Emotional intelligence (EI) makes the crossroads at which cognition and emotion match, it promotes our capability for resilience, motivation, empathy, reasoning, stress management, communication, and our ability to understand and operate social circumstances, disputes, and conflicts. Emotional intelligence provides a model for a fulfilled and happy life. Emotional Intelligence gives a structure to monitor one's own and other people's emotions. It addresses us with a guide to transforming consistent or inconsistent beliefs.

The results demonstrated that emotional intelligence has a significantly positive role in many important aspects of human functioning such as sensitivity for others and one’s own emotions, emotional self-concept, coping with stress, maintaining a positive mood, and openness. Source

Interpersonal Skills | Skills You Need

Interpersonal skills are measures of how adept you are at communication skills, listening skills, understanding, and monitoring body language. Interpersonal skill components are associated with emotional intelligence( the ability to understand and manage your own and others' emotions). Interpersonal skills provide tools for developing Emotional Intelligence (EI) performance. Research reports the skills are a significant factor in academic and career success, safety, and violence prevention, optimal mental and physical health, and critical to client/patient care results.
