Training To Advance Physicians' Communication Skills

Interpersonal skills are essential to a physician for violence protection and patient care health outcomes. Physicians in contact with patients are vulnerable to the risk of violence from patients and family members. Absence of interpersonal skills may result in poor work relationships and negative consequences for patients health. Patients may inadequately give the physician sufficient information about health concerns. Patients may be at to comply with physician's orders. Interpersonal Skills put patients at risk because patients may not understand physician orders. Interpersonal skills improve patient satisfaction, improves patient care, and decreases the risk of violence for a physician.
